Letter From Daniel

Dear Friends,

I want to share with you a project we are doing in our class. We have just read a story called Flat Stanley. It is about a boy who becomes flat because a bulletin board falls on him. He ends up being able to go on many adventures becasue he is flat.

We each made a flat person to represent ourselves, and we are sending them around the US. We would like to see how many places our flat person will be able to visit.

In this envelope you will find Flat Daniel. I hope you will write in the journal and tell me about his journey and where he visits. You can include anything that may be native to the area in which you live. If possible please take pictures of the fun time you have together. Feel free to be as creative as you want.

After Flat Daniel visits you for a few days, please send him on to someone else. We are asking whoever has Flat Daniel on May 1, 2006 to return him to Creek View School.. We would like to have all envelopes at the school by May 8th.
